thought that all new features if any gotta be setted and that
the wrong version-number will be in the program, an automatic
update-utility will be available soon, but for now this is all available.

ABOUT THE SCRIPT pPS is a script for the irc-client mIRC which increases it's functions and features in many ways, the script are constantly being developed so there won't be any "FINAL" Version, just builds, every new build contains new features and/or bug-fixed features. I started develop it along time ago, turned it down, and did recently thought about finish it. Homever the code contained too many "personal" snips and were messy so i rewrote it. and i dare to say that the code is VERY clean this time (if i don't brag who will? :) What makes pPS the script you want? well everyone has it's favorite, it's a personal thing. In this script thought i've concentrated on making USEFUL features insteed of a plain war/protection script. There's for taking an example an automatic nick-handler which keeps you from changing that nick every time you get disconnected cause your brother picked the phone up, and if a nick you want get's free along the way pPS changes to it. Of course this and nearly everything else can be turned off. There's also a wide range of settings for notification by flashing and sound when events occur when you're in another window for naming some other features, look below for a more complete list of features, please notice that it migt not be up to date thought cause i spend more time scripting then writing manuals. Of course this script always will be free for all to use as they want and modificate if you want, BUT DO HOMEVER NOT redistribute it in any way modificated. If you want new features in it do contact me insteed so i can add them. That goes for everone who has any ideas or anything else. Also please remember that this is a beta, for example the current sounds included with the script are awful (it's me :p) and will be replaced in a later version, go ahead and change them to something else if you want, it's real simple, check notifications in settings. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS The installation of the script is real simple, you need winzip or similar application to unzip the files. The thing you do is download ppsbeta.zip and then unzip it to a directory you wanna install to (like c:\pps). Also if you ain't got mIRC installed on your system download the mIRC32.ZIP file and unzip it to the same directory as pPS, you can install pPS where your mIRC allready is but remember you'll lose all your settings from your old mIRC, also please DON'T install pPS in a folder where another script allready are, it might or might not work. UPGRADING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Download the file pPSUPD.ZIP and unzip it ontop of your current pPS directory overwrite all files, your settings and preferences will still be there. Please note though that you gotta set the new features in the new version after the upgrade or thigns might not work out well... also the version-number will be WRONG but it's ok.
